The State of Michigan currently requires a minimum of two (2) business days in advance.  Due to recent influx in demand, WMCDL  currently requires at least three (3) business days in advance.  The best time to discuss scheduling is upon obtaining your Commercial Learners Permit.

Yes, we have both Class A and Class B vehicles available for rent, with both automatic, or manual transmissions.

Unfortunately, not everyone passes on their first attempt. As of July 8, 2015, any and all portions of the skills test that were passed will be banked, and will not have to be repeated in your next attempt. Therefore, your next skills test attempt will start off on the previously failed portion. The same two (2) business day waiting period must be met again when rescheduling.

Yes, you will be required to pay the test fee (and rental fee, if applicable) upon rescheduling.

If you cancel a scheduled test more than three (3) business days prior to your appointment, WMCDL will either refund your money or reschedule your test for a later date. Any cancellation within three (3) business days of your appointment will result in a forfeit of the full test fee (and rental fee, if applicable).

You will receive a certificate stating that you passed your road test. You will then take that to the Secretary of State’s Office and they will upgrade your license to the appropriate Commercial Drivers’ License.
